Top 10 Gas Station & Cheap Fuel Prices in West Hartford, CT

It seems that every time I turn around, a gas station in this area has changed brands. That being said, I have not noticed anything different about this station than the name displayed outside. It isnt the cheapest gas station in the area, but it also is not the most expensive.

They consistently have the cheapest prices in the area. For example: I just drove 2 seconds down the road & there is a 12¢ difference. However, I have to say there always seems to be the same person loitering around the pumps, aggressively trying to get customers to let him pump their gas; he has been there for months & months. You can say no & that you do not have anything to tip him & he will still do it & expect you to suddenly "change your mind" once he is done. Many of us do not carry cash & also cant afford to give money away every time we need gas. I felt bad the first 1 or 2 times, but its gotten to the point that I would rather pay the extra 12¢ down the road than deal with that situation every time I go there. I doubt I am the only one…

I give this station high marks on everything except price. I come here only when its after midnight & most other gas stations are closed. I would say I am paying more for that convenience, but the Mobil across the street is the same price & closes earlier, so that logic doesnt pass.
