They werent selling enough gas for the off-island suppliers to want to continue to supply them, since getting gas to the island is an expensive hassle. The main gas station on the island is now the nearby Chevron, with its large convenience store/laundromat/marijuana shop building. So: no gas here. Nada, zilch.
