Definitely either use the app., or use your credit card. Pre-paying is definitely inefficient.
Pump handles are almost all broken so you have to stand out in the cold and hold the lever in order to fill. Pumps are also dated. If someone is fuelling up on the other side of the pump the speed demishes greatly. Making it take even longer.
