Exxon in San Marcos (1202 SH-123)

Not always friendly

This is my second trip to the station to attempt to get gas. I submit my Exxon points card after which I submit my Exxon credit card. The monitor on the gas pump says please see cashier. I did so the first time. The cashier wanted to know how much gas I wanted. I explained I wanted to fill up. Her response was so you want $20 or $30? I told her I didnt know exactly what it would work out to be but I wanted to fill my gas tank. Again I was question whether that meant $20 or some other figure. Another station here in San Marcos has a similar policy in place. That clerk explained its to get you to come inside and perhaps buy something else in addition to buying gas. Sorry folks Im not playing that game there are too many gas stations around
