Card readers have a slip saying "not accepting cards", but if you use the card reader anyway it does work. This must be some kind of issue with them trying to avoid credit card fees or get the money quicker in to their account. I have been told its the pumps that will put a hold on the customers transaction for a couple of days and hold the stores money longer. Either way its an inconvenience during a pandemic while you are trying to distance yourself. I have heard and seen many customers leave upset due to their games with card readers. This has been an issue for the past couple of years. Its not something new.
