Plan accordingly. Like other posters have said, fill up in either Bishop or Topaz Lake. Even the small town of Walker has cheaper fuel. This place has been price gouging for years. Oh, and if you don't want fuel or they're overpriced snacks but need to use the restroom you will need to go somewhere else.

Gas is very expensive here. If you're going south, try to make it to Bishop. Going north, there's next to nothing till you get into Nevada. Either way, gas up in Bishop and you'll be OK.
