Shell in Brighton (15355 Telephone Rd)

There is a McDonald's Restaurant on site. Also, there is an excellent breakfast restaurant called JR's Cafe, up on the hill, east on Telephone Rd. Shell petrol prices are normally about 8 ¢/litre direr than at the Pump & Refuel in town (approx 5 & 6 kms away respectively).

NOT open 24-7 and terrible hours for a station off the Hwy

This is an okay station. Prices are slightly more expensive than in Brighton. The issue here is the volume of traffic, larger cars and trucks with trailers, RVs, semi-trucks on delivery, and people coming from the McDonald's drive through and stopping in the ENTRY/EXIT driveway...all of which causes congestion. Be careful manoeuvring around the parking and refuelling areas, particularly during the tourist season.

Friendly staff

This is a good rest stop if you're on the road. It's just off the 401 on the southeast corner of the interchange. It houses a McDonald's restaurant and is kept pretty clean. Because of it's location, the fuel prices are higher, but tend to be slightly cheaper than the Trenton ONRoutes at times. There are cheaper stations in Brighton about 5 kms south. Check GasBuddy before you venture to either one. The refuelling area can get quite conjested during the summer months with RVs, and camper trailers and the MacD's drive through. Use caution.
