This afternoon on Friday 12NOV2021 I had intended on putting regular unleaded octane 87 gas in my car at $3.29/gallon. This is pump #6. About 5 gallons into the pumping I looked down at the octane buttons and noticed the green light for Plus octane 89 was lit. Octane 89 is 20 cents more per gallon. I stopped pumping since I wanted 87 octane. I went in and informed the employees behind the counter. They acted like they knew nothing about it. They did say the 87 octane gas had not run out. I just hope they arent trying to scam anyone out of money by rigging the pump to switch from 87 to 89 octane without anyone noticing.
