ARCO in Oakland (889 W Grand Ave)

My experience was not the best. There were a lot of riffraff hanging around outside playing loud music. Additionally, when I first went into pay for gas and got to the pump, I stood there for about three minutes before realizing the pump had not been set. Consequently, I placed the nozzle back into the holder to prevent a forementioned Riff Raff from potentially stealing my gas only to find out that now I would have to swipe my card a second time because the first one was still showing pending. I was issued a receipt to show the final transaction Had defaulted back to zero, but when I came outside to pump for the second time, the pump took a while to begin releasing gas. I ended up with a pending transaction under current transaction and having to wait for my bank to clear out the first.Probably won’t be returning

I dont like how the clerks treat you with their attitudes, most their pumps are broke and its very dirty

This location is awesome. If they are able to keep the homeless/people begging for money away, more people (like myself) would feel more safe when entering the store to purchase items as well as gas.
