AAFES in Lackland AFB (6517 Femoyer St)

This gas station was clean, they have a key for the bathroom. There was no graffiti on the doors or walls. The toilet and sink were clean. The staff was friendly. Their gas prices were reasonable, just two cents above at 2.15 compared to the lowest I found in the area at 2.13. It's access is readily available just off Highway 90 just one or two exits east of Interstate 410.

Always a pleasure to fuel up here. Prices are competitive and station is clean.

The AAFES station is good; however, one glaring flaw exists that creates long lines because only half the pumps are usable. The long extension pump hoses are installed on the wrong side. Most cars have gas tank ports on the driver side, but the extended pumps are also on the driver side which doesnt allow for opposing side pump filling offered with the extension.
