Phillips 66 in Pekin (1401 Broadway St)

Okay station.

Diesel pump ran at 2gpm full speed, which is too slow to automatically shut off nozzle. I stood there and watched it overflow and manually shut it down. I went in and told them what happened and why it happened and that I wanted it cleaned off the side of my truck and wouldnt pay for what wound up on the ground. Manager said shed clean it up, came out and looked and told the owner over the phone that there was nothing on the ground (I have pics and video). Said theres nothing wrong with the pump and theyre inspected annually. The tag was from 2018 (I have pics). Said I could pay for the fuel or theyd call the cops. I told her Ive got no problem paying for the fuel in the truck, but I dont care if its a pennys worth on the ground I shouldnt have to pay for it. She again threatened to call cops. I paid, took pics, will be contacting the state tomorrow.

Always have to go inside to retrieve my receipt after I swiped with a card. It gets to be a little annoying.
