Pioneer in Burlington (559 Plains Rd E)

This is very "no frills" it reminds me of a gas station of the 1960s. They lower their prices when Shell a block away does. I very seldom go here.

Well I was wrong about the facelift. They are open again however all they did was dig and change some fuel lines. No improvements to the gas station that is badly needed. But they did finally cut that great big bush back that always blocked the price. Now you can see the Regular price when riding by. But that was the only improvement. I promised to update on what they were doing there while closed. Unfortunately that was it. Boy they sure need a facelift even their pumps are outdated. Very old station.

The place needs cleaning. The fellow sits on a stool all day. All products are dusty looking. The entire place needs a good scrubbing . I can't imagine sitting in all that dirt & dust. I worked @ a full serve Gas Station in the 1970's in my 20's. I never sat . If I wasn't running serving cars I was cleaning shelves & the products . I NEVER sat & Always smiled & was friendly to customers. I knew when they left they'd be back as they received top notch service in a clean environment. Lucky me also got to clean men's & ladies washrooms 😖/ people can be pigs therefore it's necessary to constantly clean restrooms also make sure all supplies were full. ( people even steal rolls of toilet paper😏)!
