Shell in Orland Park (17940 S Wolf Rd)

Tried to get assistance with the Gas Buddy card. Would not work at pump. Pump said see cashier. Cashier less than helpful. Thought I was using a credit card and wanted a dollar amount. Told her $50 and then tried to swap card. She was rude and told me I needed to insert chip. I informed her there isn’t a chip on the gas buddy card. Told me to swipe, then she told me I have no money on my card and it is declined. Tried again to tell her it is not a credit card but she just didn’t seem to get it or willing to help. Dissatisfied with customer service. Will not go back to this station.

Great Shell station! Lots of shopping & food nearby. Jewel/Osco is in strip mall, along with Barracos (dine in, carry out & delivery) and Mos Chinese Food (dine in, carry out & delivery). BOTH HAVE GREAT FOOD! In smaller strip mall is Jimmy Johns and Starbucks. Walgreens is across Wolf Road and McDonalds is east on 179th Street.

Close to neighborhood shopping. Close to major roads. Not open all nite. I rarely use this place. Used to be my fave. Meh.

Wish it were someplace else.
